This is an orange color changing desiccant. It belongs to orange silica gel. The internal structure of silica gel consists of a large number of interconnected microporous networks. These micropores attract and hold water, alcohol, hydrocarbons and other chemicals through physical adsorption and capillary condensation phenomena. White silica gel desiccant can be considered as food grade products, except that the blue silica gel desiccant contains cobalt chloride.
