Moisture Absorption Capacity

1. Moisture Absorption Rate

Standard Silica Gel (Blue/Orange Indicator): At 25°C and 60% relative humidity (RH), these silica gel packets can absorb about 20%~30% of their own weight in water. That is, 1g of silica gel absorbs 0.2~0.3g of water.
High-Efficiency Silica Gel (High Purity): Under the same conditions, the moisture absorption rate can reach 30%~40%. For example, a 5g packet can absorb 1.5~2g of water.
Saturated State: When the environmental RH reaches 80%-90%, the moisture absorption is close to the peak (about 35%-40%). At this time, it needs to be replaced or regenerated.

2. Moisture Absorption Rate

In a confined space, it can absorb more than 90% of the free moisture in the environment within 24 hours (such as a small electronic packaging box).
