Moisture Absorption Capacity

Our transformer breather silica gel has excellent moisture absorption performance. At a temperature of 20℃ and a relative humidity of 90%, its moisture absorption rate can reach more than 30%. That is, every 100g of silica gel can absorb 30g of moisture. Its 2~5mm uniform particle structure provides a larger adsorption surface area. This ensures rapid absorption of moisture from the air. You can choose a desiccant with a color indicator. After saturation, this indicating silica gel will undergo a significant color change, intuitively prompting the replacement cycle. After drying at 120℃~150℃, it can be fully regenerated. Repeated use does not affect the moisture absorption efficiency. It is an efficient and economical choice for moisture-proof maintenance of transformer.
