Hygroscopicity

Under standard conditions of 25°C and 60% relative humidity, its moisture absorption rate can reach 20%-30% of its own weight. If the humidity rises to 90%, the rate can further rise to 35%-40%.

1. First-Time Use (Unsaturated State)

It can absorb about 98% of the moisture in the flowers within 24 hours, allowing the flowers to quickly set.

2. Reused Silica Gel (After Drying and Regeneration)

Its moisture absorption efficiency will decrease slightly. However, this drying flowers silica gel can still maintain about 80% of its initial capacity (about 16%-24% moisture absorption rate).

3. Compared with ordinary desiccants (such as calcium chloride), it absorbs moisture faster. And it has a better effect on retaining flower shape and color.
